The New CAN Cult Awareness Network is a mediatory organization.
There are two senses in which we fulfill this role:
While there are an abundance of self-proclaimed anti-cultists and counter-cultists —organizations as well as individuals— with various agendas they try to promote at any cost, our only “agenda” is to help bring people together and keep families, and therefore society strong regardless of religious differences and by any legal, ethical means available to us.

There are two senses in which we fulfill this role:
| i. | We gather useful knowledge and the best sources for help and information to freely distribute to the general public and the media --- in other words, we are the go-between for quality professionals, their research and the public; |
| ii. | We are a neutral source of support, compassion and insight standing between conflicting parties --- in this respect, we are similar to professional mediators in the legal & social spheres (except our services are free). |
