NOTES ABOUT AUM, the MEDICAL FACILITIES and the DOCTORS:

The Facilities:

    1. The Imperial Household. This household was in charge of the medical treatment of Asahara. The person in charge of this was Tomomasa Nakagawa, This was in the Aum compound, Satian No. building Yamanishi Prefecture.

    2. The Aum Hospital. This was the major medical facility. It was headed by moue Hayashi. The hospital was in Nakano Ward in Tokyo.

    3. The biological research facility. This was headed by Seiichi Endo. The biological germ weapons were developed in this facility at Yamanishi Prefecture, in Satian No. building

The Doctors:

    There were 54 doctors in Aum- Below are the most active as reported in the media.

    1. MASAMITSU SASAKI:

    Psychiatrist Dr. Masamitsu Sasaki became a full time resident member of the organization in 1989. He was in charge of the Christian Initiations where LSD was administered to thousands of members. He was a member of the physicians in charge of Asahara. He became a psychiatrist at the Hiroshima University. He became a "priest" in 1993 after being a "lay" member. He used drugs like thiopental on the members. Sasaki was arrested on the 13th May 1995 after he ttuased himself over to the police.

    Per the Shukan Gendai, 3rd Feb. 1996, Sasaki was the only person who was allowed to touch Matsumoto's head, and it was Sasaki who knew a lot about LSD. Sasaki however, was never reported to have used the drug himself. Also, while Dr. Nakagawa never was reported to have used the drugs, almost all the other doctors, including Hayashi, did. It was in this article where the ex-lover of Matsumoto said that she speculated that it was Sasaki who introduced LSD to Matsumoto, as he was the Aum psychiatrist, and very close to Asahara.

    Sasaki also appears to have been instrumental in the development of the head gear of Aunt which was caller PSI.

    2. KENICHIRO KATAHIRA:

    Katahira is the Aum psychiatrist who was employed by Hiroshima University. He, along with Dr. Hayashi administered what they were to coin new narco treatment. Psychiatrist, Dr. Kenichiro Katahira studied at Hiroshima University from April 1980. There he became a member of Aum Sinsen No Kai and graduated in March 1987. He then became a psychiatrist in the Hiroshima University Hospital- He became a "priest" of Aum Supreme Troth in September 1989.

3. IKUO HAYASHI:

    Dr. Ikuo Hayashi who studied at Keio University in 1965,(9) and joined Auras Supreme Truth in February 1989, and later became a "priest" in May 1990. He joined the Keio University Hospital in 1971. He studied in Detroit. He used thiopental to extract confessions of members and ex-members. He developed means of erasing memory. Ha joined Aum in 1989.

4. TOMOMASA NAKAGAWA:

    He entered medical university at Kyoto Prefecture. In 1988 he entered the Osaka Railroad Hospital, in the digestive organs and internal medicine section. He was a doctor and advisor of the Awn hospital. He was the physician in charge of Chizuo Matsumoto, Asahara, In September 1993 he was arrested in western Australian Airport for carrying concealed dangerous chemicals

5. MASAHIRO TOMINAGA:
He graduated Nada High School. He attended Tokyo University. He supervised the drug companies that related to Aum.

6. SATOMI TAKAHASHI: In December 1994 he is supposed to have made false reports to get money for Aum

7. RIBA HAYASHI: She was an Anesthesiologist and the wife of Ikuo Hayashi.

8. AKEFUMI MORE He was a doctor at the Aum Hospital On the 15 February 1995 he was arrested- He made a false medical report to get money.

9. SATOSHI OZAWA: He was a doctor of the aum hospital and is now 35 years old. He became a priest in 1990. He was a children's doctor. He graduated Osaka University Medical section.

10. SE1CHI ENDO: A doctor of virology. He was involved in making the biological weapons.

11. MASAYUKI HIRATA: He graduated Aichi Medical University in 1984. He became a "priest" of Aum in June 1988.He was involved in the drugging of exmembers and their imprisonment.

12. TAKAHISA HORI: He was not arrested. There are many more doctors and psychiatrists whose names have not been used in this report.
